Hot & spicy BBQ rub


Preparation Time 2 minutes
Makes 3/4 cup
Ingredients
* 2 tablespoons chilli powder
* 2 tablespoons sea salt flakes
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 1 tablespoon smoky paprika
* 1 tablespoon dried thyme
* 2 teaspoons garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Spoon into a jar.
2. To use: Using a pastry brush, brush steaks, pork chops or veal cutlets with olive oil. Sprinkle both sides with rub. Using your fingertips, rub over meat. Barbecue or grill meat until cooked to your liking.
